The South Lakes Academy is an Independent Special School offering alternative educational provision for young people aged 11 – 21 years with mild to moderate learning or emotional difficulties. 

The aim of the South Lakes Academy is to provide a safe, supportive learning environment with opportunities for each student to develop the skills and knowledge to enable them to become a responsible and successful citizen.

The Kendal Lads & Girls Club are very excited to have this new and supportive organisation using the Office and facilities at the Youth Centre.
